1. Informative: Greg Lyons is no ordinary human being. He is a mythical combo of intelligence and reflexes. On average, Greg spends 800 hours per day on the computer. However, only 2 hours of that is spent on schoolwork. The rest of that is consumed by games.
2. Descriptive: The room is dark, musty. It reeks of spent soft drinks and broken keyboards. In the center of the room, a computer monitor glows, spewing color across the room, illuminating the chair and the boy sitting in front of it. His name is Greg Lyons.
3. Twist: An ordinary LASA student spends their day doing boring things like going to school, studying, and doing homework. If they have time, they'll probably fit in some social activities on the side. Greg Lyons is by no means an ordinary LASA student. 5 or 6 hours of his daily schedule is consumed by one thing: video games.

ReplyDeletenone of them, to me, are good leads. The only ones that are interesting have errors.
1st is the best
ReplyDeleteThe second and third one are really good because they want to make the reader keep reading and find out more. The descriptive one is especially good.
ReplyDeleteActually my parents wouldn't let me drink soft drinks by my computer if I wanted to. I don't have any broken keyboards. Also the time I spend playing video games is inconsistent between the first and third leads.
